CORATO (BA) – On June 5th, you’ll find us in Puglia for the 6th edition of the Mediterranean Meetings, organized by the Federico II Stupor Mundi Art School in collaboration with Progetto Mediterranea, which has always supported the initiative.
Our presentation, led by Mediterranea Maria Isolina Catanese, will focus on the “common thread” of cultural traditions, landscapes, and crafts that unites the Mediterranean coasts. A link-up will also be provided for a farewell from the Mediterranea crew, who are transferring from Leros to Alexandroupouli, where Route 2026 will begin on June 11th. On the same day, June 5th, we will donate the Mediterranean Flag to the cities of Altamura and Gravina in Puglia, for their historical and cultural heritage that places them at the heart of the Mediterranean crossroads.
The Meetings will then continue throughout the month with multiple events spread across the country and at sea (including events related to World Oceans Day 2026), concluding on June 30th with our online event to celebrate the Mediterranean Flag’s 7th anniversary.
